Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking several Soldering Technicians in Poughkeepsie, NY to support electronic assembly and testing. You will perform soldering on components, follow drawings and BOMs, and use microscope soldering and solder stations.

The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a proactive attitude. Shifts are Monday through Friday 7:30am–4:00pm, pay range $18.00–$19.00 per hour with benefits after waiting period, including medical, dental, life insurance, short-term

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in electronics manufacturing or related field.
• IPC 610 certification is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and BOMs.
• Proficiency with hand tools, solder stations and microscope soldering.

Responsibilities

• Perform soldering tasks on electronic components, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Utilize tools and equipment to assemble and test electronic devices.
• Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and schematics to complete tasks accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety standards.
• Assist in rework and repair processes using microscope soldering techniques.
