Job summary

PALS is seeking a full-time Electronics Service Technician to join our Willmar, MN team. We will train you to tackle the responsibilities of this position and support customers at sites and in-house.

The ideal candidate will have a related field, a high school diploma or GED, a Minnesota Driver’s License, and a willingness to learn electronic equipment and procedures. Strong English communication is essential for customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Related field required, beneficial but not required.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Have and maintain a valid Minnesota Driver’s License and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
• Willingness to learn and understand electronic equipment and procedures or ability and the variety of controllers.
• Willing to troubleshoot and repair of electronic equipment and in the use of common electronic testing equipment required.
• Ability to learn computerized billing and inventory system.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the ability to interact with a variety of internal employees and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve controller malfunctions and replace defective circuitry or electronics components.
• Accurate and timely installation and repair of electronic equipment at customers’ locations and in house.
• Adjust and replace defective circuitry and electronic components.
• Provide customer support and education, identifying needs and sources of problems.
• Generate sales orders and manage paperwork in D365; handle returns and inventory placement.
