How You Will Make An Impact (Job Summary)

As a technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing electronic equipment, ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

What You Can Expect In This Role (Job Responsibilities)
  • Diagnose equipment problems down to the board level and accurately document estimates for parts and repair times in the ERP system.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries, prepare estimates, and complete repairs to meet service levels, escalating issues as needed.
  • Perform precise repairs, rebuilds, and reprogramming according to assembly procedures.
  • Test and calibrate equipment to meet performance standards.
  • Document all customer interactions and repair updates in the ERP system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the repair and testing areas daily.
  • Contribute to the creation and update of service procedures for current and legacy products.
  • Stay informed on product updates and service procedures.
  • Follow service processes and suggest improvements.
  • Develop product knowledge to resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Train other technicians and staff on service procedures as needed.
  • Perform warehouse functions such as picking, packing, and shipping orders.
  • Adhere to safety, inventory, and quality processes.
  • Support business growth and adapt to changing demands.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

Required:

  • Technical Associate’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1-5 years of electronics repair experience.

Preferred:

  • Experience with electronic assembly, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting down to the board level.
  • Ability to read schematics and build/maintain test jigs.
  • Customer service skills, technical analysis, and teamwork abilities.
Education & Certifications

Technical associate’s degree or equivalent experience.

Travel & Working Environment

Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, various physical movements, and working in outdoor conditions with potential weather and noise exposure.
