Job summary

Minnesota Department of Corrections is seeking an Electronics Systems Specialist for the Minnesota Correctional Facility at Oak Park Heights. Salary ranges provided; performance-based responsibilities include maintaining CCTV and door control systems, and supporting new construction projects at the facility.

Qualifications

• Power Limited Technician license OR ability to obtain within probationary period.
• Three (3) years of work experience installing, calibrating, configuring, maintaining and repairing electronics equipment (two years in last ten).
• Substitution: 1-year tech program for 6 months, 2-year program for 1 year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain CCTV system and coordinate with IT on daily issues.
• Maintain security touch screen door control system and other security electronics.
• Maintain electronic equipment/systems and ensure security of tools and information.
