Job summary

Eagle Harbor in Grand Prairie, TX, seeks an Electronics/ Technician Security Specialist to support physical security, systems engineering, and program management. The role focuses on installing and maintaining access control, alarms, video surveillance, and related countermeasure technologies.

You will interpret technical drawings, conduct security assessments, and coordinate with government contractors to ensure compliant and effective security solutions for critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Associate degree in technology preferred; two years of related experience may substitute.
• Minimum of five years experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, and repair physical access control, intrusion detection, video surveillance, and related security countermeasure systems.
• Read and interpret highly technical documents and facility drawings (as-built).
• Plan and implement physical security countermeasures and corrective actions.
• Conduct Facility Security Assessments and MOE testing; manage projects and provide status reports.
• Develop procurement documents and oversee government contracting requirements.
• Provide SME support, troubleshooting, maintenance, testing, and project management for: access control, alarms, vehicle barrier systems, communications, screening, surveillance, and IT systems.
