Protingent Staffing invites applications for a Repair Station Test Technician in Redmond, WA. The role focuses on in-house servicing, testing, and repair of sophisticated company products, applying basic mechanical and electrical knowledge with emphasis on 5S, safety, calibration, and quality.

Working with senior technicians, you will diagnose hardware, software, and systems failures, read blueprints and diagrams, and prepare detailed failure-analysis reports.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of direct experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, and machine/tool mechanics.
• Associate’s degree in Electronics Technology or related field, or equivalent military training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, circuit boards, processors, chips, and industrial control/data acquisition software (HiPot).
• Safety-minded problem solver with strong deductive reasoning and collaboration in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house servicing, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies on repaired products using established procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, engineering instructions, and customer data to assemble and diagnose electronics units per regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports for analysis of product failure trends and serviceability issues, entering data in written or electronic systems.
• Communicate with product support teams to share details helpful to failure diagnostics or repair; collaborate with supervisors and peers.
• Follow 5S guidelines, keep equipment calibrated, and maintain safety standards to support organization and efficiency.
