Job summary

Luminator Technology Group is seeking a full-time Repair Technician to join our Repair Center team in Plano, TX. You will diagnose malfunctions, test equipment, and apply knowledge of electronic units and systems while maintaining logs of repairs and calibrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in repair environments.
• Ability to read schematics and use test equipment.
• Knowledge of RS232/RS485/CAN and Ethernet is preferred.
• Soldering skills (through-hole and surface mount).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of circuit boards, electronics, and troubleshooting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair systems and components using established procedures.
• Set up and configure test fixtures, electrical controls, and measuring instruments.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance of test fixtures and equipment.
• Maintain equipment logs of performance, repairs, calibrations, or tests.
• Provide time and cost estimates for repairs.
• Ensure OSHA safety guidelines are followed daily.
