Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a skilled Computer Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, test, and optimize laptops, desktops, tablets, and other devices. You will work in a fast-paced environment, performing hardware replacements and software updates while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Based in Indiana, this full-time role offers hourly pay plus bonus, with opportunities to develop hands-on expertise and collaborate with engineering and operations teams. Typical base pay in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree, technical certification, or related coursework preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in electronics repair, technical support, device refurbishment, manufacturing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies, and end-user devices.
• Perform hardware repairs and replacements (screens, batteries, memory, storage, keyboards, etc.).
• Execute system upgrades, software installations, firmware updates, and device optimization.
• Document repair activities and results in designated systems.
