Actalent is seeking an Electronics Reliability Technician for a contract-to-hire position based in Brookfield, WI. The role focuses on reliability and robustness testing in a cutting-edge electronics lab, performing characterization tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities include building test boards, running tests, documenting results, and ensuring safety and schematic accuracy while troubleshooting from board to component levels.

Competenze

• Proficiency in electronics and soldering techniques.
• Comfortable using multimeters and handling voltages up to 50 volts.
• Experience in building test boards, running tests, and debugging designs.
• Ability to probe and analyze failures to determine root causes.

• Perform electrical, thermal, and reliability characterization of critical electrical components.
• Create and assemble test boards according to specifications.
• Follow detailed work instructions to conduct tests effectively.
• Track test requests and acquire necessary component samples.
• Manage multiple requests and projects, prioritizing tasks as needed.
• Generate detailed test reports as required.
• Adhere to electrical safety best practices at all times.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics accurately.
• Utilize various electrical equipment to troubleshoot and diagnose failures from board level to component level.
• Solder and remove surface mount and through-hole components on printed circuit boards using hand tools and soldering equipment.
