Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months of experience in basic electronics coursework or Relay Technology coursework.
• Must be willing to possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Associate degree in Engineering Technology Substation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, testing, calibration, and repair of electronic and electromechanical equipment.
• Use factory manuals and schematics to repair equipment.
• Construct/configure equipment to support engineers in monitoring or control systems.
• May participate in and/or facilitate training for department/City initiatives.
• Overtime or alternate hours may be required for department operations.
