Job summary

SimplyMacs is seeking an Electronics Refurbishing Specialist in South Beloit, Illinois. This fast-paced role requires a reliable, high-energy individual who enjoys working with technology and staying active. Responsibilities include processing, testing, and refreshing incoming technology, running diagnostic tests, and ensuring all devices are securely wiped and upgraded.

The position is full-time with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM, offering a pay range of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. The ideal candidate should be comfortable using tech tools and detail-oriented.

Qualifications

• You should know your way around a PC or Mac.
• You can comfortably lift and move boxes or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• You're comfortable using Microsoft Excel and can learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments of laptops, phones, and computers.
• Use internal system to log serial numbers and specs.
• Ensure all old data is completely erased.
• Run diagnostic tests to check device health.
• Perform basic hardware refreshes.
• Clean up devices and reinstall software.
• Perform final checks to ensure functionality.
