Linde Inc. in Tonawanda, NY, is seeking a Product Development Engineer - Electronics R&D to join the Electronics Gases research team.

You will design and build R&D systems for ESGs, support commercialization of new specialty gases, and optimize system performance in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a BS or MS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with extensive post-degree experience in specialty gases product development, plus hands-on lab work and strong communication skills.

Formación

• BS or MS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years (BS) or 3+ years (MS) in ESG product development
• Hands-on lab work with high-purity ESGs
• Design and fabrication of gas panels and control systems
• Experience integrating and operating equipment within custom systems
• Familiarity with P&ID, HAZOP, PHA and safety reviews
• Experience with gas analysis techniques (GC‑TCD/FID, GC‑MS, FTIR, CRDS, RGA) is a plus
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced R&D environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsabilidades

• Design and build R&D systems for ESGs and materials development
• Support commercialization of new specialty gases
• Identify opportunities to improve performance of R&D systems
• Develop protocols to measure, analyze, enhance, and control system performance
• Become an internal expert in research system fabrication and testing
• Collaborate on internal technical programs to identify new products or processes
