Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a Senior Research Scientist / Engineer in Electronics R&D at the Linde Technology Center in Tonawanda, NY. The role focuses on developing and commercializing new ESGs and advanced materials for electronics, with emphasis on purification, delivery systems and packaging solutions.

You will lead process optimization and scale-up from lab to plant, contribute to IP, and collaborate with regional teams, customers, and suppliers in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years of post-PhD industrial experience in product development for ESGs
• Experience commercializing specialty chemical processes, preferably ESGs
• Hands-on lab-scale experience with high-purity, hazardous ESGs and related analyses

Responsibilities

• Develop and commercialize new ESG-related materials, purification technologies, delivery systems and packaging solutions
• Lead process optimization to improve ESG production performance
• Contribute to IP development through invention disclosures
• Collaborate with partners, commercial teams and customers across development stages
