Job summary

Molex is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to ensure electronic assemblies meet contract specs, industry standards, and customer expectations. You will inspect components, collect quality data, and support CAPA activities to protect product integrity.

You will join the Manufacturing Quality group collaborating with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain to deliver high-reliability electronics in a fast-paced, traceability-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or technical certificate in electronics, quality, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on quality inspection experience in electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly environments.
• Proficient with standard inspection tools and test equipment and able to follow procedures and BOMs.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and component datasheets; familiar with revision control and traceability.
• Basic computer skills: MS Office (Excel) and experience entering inspection data into MES/ERP or quality databases.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of electronic components and assemblies.
• Execute First Article Inspections (FAI) and lot verifications with traceability.
• Use inspection tools and testers to detect nonconformances and document results.
• Collect, record, and analyze quality data; support root-cause investigations.
