Job summary

Molex is hiring for a molding and encapsulation technician in a high‑volume electronics manufacturing environment. You will operate and optimize molding processes, ensure high yield, and maintain compliant documentation. Expect collaboration with engineering, quality, and NPI teams to qualify molds and materials, drive yield improvements, and support audits.

The role emphasizes hands‑on operation, process control, and safe shop floor practices across 1st–3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on molding, encapsulation, or potting experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Ability to read technical drawings, work instructions and SPC charts.
• Proficient with inspection tools and basic computer data entry for production tracking.
• Must be able to stand for shifts and lift up to 35 lb.

Responsibilities

• Own quality and consistency of molded components using process controls and inline feedback.
• Translate product requirements into validated molding setups and stable runs.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and NPI teams to qualify molds and materials.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (yield, cycle time, cost, throughput).
• Maintain process documentation, calibration status, and support audits.
