IDEX Corporation in Ocala, FL is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the Product Development Team. You will help document functional, regulatory and environmental requirements for electronic products and systems, support legacy and new designs, and drive ISO 9001:2015 compliance across sites.

You will work with Engineering, RMA, Purchasing and Contract Manufacturers to address quality issues, perform root-cause analysis, audits, and implement corrective actions.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, supply chain management or manufacturing processes.
• 5+ years' experience with at least 2 years in a supplier quality role.
• Ability to travel as needed to support regional activities.

Mansioni

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Work with Contract manufacturers to address problems and develop standards.
• Define process parameters to ensure supplier capability meets requirements.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on quality issues.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Contract Manufacturers on supply chain issues and part replacements.
• Manage root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier and contract manufacture quality issues.
• Assist with on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions.
• Oversee ISO 9001:2015 requirements across sites.
• Validate electronics department processes are followed during development.
• Perform audits to ensure compliance to specifications and procedures.
• Review product specifications to establish quality and reliability objectives.
• Participate in first article inspections of parts from Contract Manufactures.
