Job summary

IDEX, Hale business unit, in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join a dynamic product development team. You will document functional, regulatory and environmental requirements for electronic products, support legacy and new designs, and drive ISO 9001:2015 compliance with suppliers and contract manufacturers.

You will analyze quality data, lead root cause investigations, manage supplier quality issues, and collaborate with engineering to improve processes across multiple business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quality, engineering, supply chain management or manufacturing.
• 5+ years experience with at least 2 years in supplier quality.
• Ability to travel as needed to support regional activities.
• Experience with ISO 9001:2015 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to quality vision, policies and standard processes across units.
• Work with contract manufacturers to develop and enforce standards.
• Define process capability to meet product requirements.
• Interface with customers and suppliers on quality issues.
• Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Assist with supplier visits and verification of actions.
• Ensure ISO requirements are followed across sites.
• Review specifications to establish quality and reliability objectives.
• Lead first article inspections and data-driven improvements.
