Job summary

Reperio Human Capital Ltd is seeking an Electronics Quality Engineer to drive quality across the development lifecycle, from design through production. You will review schematics, lead DFMEA, and partner with R&D, manufacturing and supplier teams to mitigate risks and ensure robust hardware products.

The role requires a degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, about five years in electronics quality, and experience in regulated manufacturing environments with embedded systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Around 5 years' experience in electronics quality, design quality, hardware engineering or product development.
• Strong understanding of electronic circuits, PCB design and electronic schematics.
• Experience working with complex electronic products.
• Knowledge of DFMEA, risk management and root cause analysis.
• Understanding of embedded systems, firmware or hardware/software integration.
• Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment (medical devices, aerospace, automotive, life safety or similar).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across R&D, Manufacturing and Quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing electronic schematics, PCB layouts and hardware designs to identify potential quality risks.
• Working with R&D engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Leading Design FMEA and supporting design risk assessments.
• Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), verification and validation activities.
• Investigating hardware-related product issues using structured root cause analysis techniques.
• Supporting hardware and embedded software testing from a quality perspective.
• Reviewing component changes, supplier approvals and new part introductions.
• Analysing product and test data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Supporting production and test engineering teams with technical product issues.
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and design control processes.
