Job summary

Halma in Pennsylvania is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support QC Inspection, Testing, Rework, RMA Inspection, and ERP-based Warehouse Management.

Candidates should have 2+ years in QC or electronics testing, an Associate's in electronics or related field preferred (HS diploma with certs acceptable), proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in electronics or related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent with additional certifications (IPC, ESD, QA inspections, trade, and related certifications) acceptable.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar quality control, inspection, or electronics testing role.
• Experience inspecting and testing electronic parts and products using software or hardware.
• Experience with basic rework/repair of electronic units preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP programs preferred.
• Must be trainable, able to learn technical aspects, and work independently.

Responsibilities

• QC Inspection: Inspect incoming and in-process parts, components, accessories, and assemblies using checklists and AQL/100% plans; produce inspection reports.
• Testing: Perform functional, electrical, RF, mechanical, and visual tests; update firmware/software as required; escalate anomalies with data.
• Rework: Perform rework and repair on non-conforming units per instructions and ECNs.
• RMA Inspection: Inspect and disposition RMAs; track testing data and reports; assist investigations with QA team.
• Warehouse Management: Handle ERP-based receiving, picking, transfers, and adjustments for tested/inspected items; ensure inventory accuracy.
• Documentation: Follow SOPs; create thorough documentation; support updates to instructions and acceptance criteria.
