Job summary

NEOTech is hiring a Quality Control Technician to partner with Operations, Quality and Engineering to improve quality performance while ensuring compliance. You will inspect PCBA and electro-mechanical assemblies, identify root causes of defects, and support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires reading blueprints and GD&T, familiarity with inspection tools, and 2–4 years in electronics manufacturing. ITAR/CUI rules apply; U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. AS/AA degree in a technical field is a plus.
• 2-4 years in electronic manufacturing, preferably contract manufacturing.
• IPC 600 and IPC 610 experience required.
• IPC J-STD-001 experience a plus.
• IPC 620 experience a plus.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR/CUI compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual acceptance inspections per drawings, specs, and routings.
• Identify and investigate out-of-spec situations to determine root cause.
• Document non-conformances and drive corrective actions with process/quality teams.
• Support internal and external audits as needed.
• Inspect sub-assemblies and final products using calipers and microscopes.
• Maintain MRB documentation and monitor quality metrics.
• Assist with process validations and continuous improvement activities.
• Triage RMAs and coordinate with quality engineers.
