Job summary

HTSS, Inc. in Macungie, PA, seeks an Incoming Inspector to ensure quality of PCBs, components, and electro‑mechanical assemblies in a full-time onsite role. You will inspect, test, and document conformity to specifications and IPC standards, with responsibility for accurate inspection records.

The position requires reading engineering docs, familiarity with IPC standards, and proficiency with inspection tools. Soldering is a plus, and ability to lift up to 30 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering documentation, material specs, and industry standards.
• Experience in Quality Control, preferably electronics manufacturing.
• Proficient with inspection tools: calipers, gauges, multimeters, stereo microscopes.
• Basic soldering skills a plus.
• Familiarity with IPC standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect PC boards, components, assemblies to IPC standards and product requirements.
• Perform incoming material inspections using docs, specs, procedures, and work instructions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports and records.
• Retrieve manufacturing or distributor data sheets as needed.
• Respond to small package deliveries in the absence of Stockroom coworkers.
• Adhere to all Quality System processes and procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE (glasses and cleanroom coats).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
