Job summary

Accelera Staffing is seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Inspector to join our electronics manufacturing facility in Illinois. You will evaluate electronic goods and PCB assemblies to ensure they meet internal quality protocols and customer requirements, using precision tools and strict IPC-A-610 standards.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, documentation of inspection results in ERP or logs, adherence to ESD safety, and collaboration with manufacturing to trace defects and support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality standards.
• Basic computer literacy, including data entry and Excel.
• Experience operating measuring equipment like calipers or microscopes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect PCB assemblies and sub-assemblies at various production stages.
• Check solder integrity, orientation, and cleanliness against IPC-A-610 and client specs.
• Verify BOMs, revision docs, and assembly instructions are current.
• Use calipers, multimeters, magnifiers, and microscopes for precise measurements.
• Perform functional tests and basic continuity/resistance checks.
• Document findings in logs or quality reporting systems.
• Assist root-cause investigations and CAPA processes.
• Maintain product traceability records throughout production.
