Job summary

Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co. KG in Auburn Hills, MI is seeking a Software Engineer/PM to plan, coordinate and manage embedded ECU software programs for mechatronic components such as frunk, POT, PDG, and power window regulators.

You will engineer, develop, integrate, test in vehicle and validate embedded ECUs using C/C++, Python, Assembly and CAPL, coordinating with teams across Auburn Hills, Queretaro, Pune and customers to ensure end-to-end software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in electronics/related field.
• 36 months’ experience coordinating embedded ECU software programs for automotive mechatronics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage ECU software development programs for automotive mechatronic components.
• Coordinate software delivery with customers and multiple development sites (Auburn Hills, MI; Queretaro, Mexico; Pune, India).
• Set workload for software development and testing teams to assure end-to-end delivery.
• Engineer, develop, integrate, test in vehicle and validate embedded ECUs (latch controls, POT, PDG, power window regulators, HFA).

Your Tasks

• Plan, coordinate, and manage Brose embedded electronic control unit (ECU) software development programs for mechatronic frunk, Power Operated Tailed (POT), power drop gates (PDG), power window regulators, and coordinate software delivery with customers, set workload for software development and testing teams in Auburn Hills, MI, Queretaro, Mexico, and Pune, India, to assure end-to-end embedded ECU software delivery. Engineer, develop, integrate, test in vehicle, and validate embedded ECUs in Brose frunk including latch controls, POT, PDG, power window regulators, and HFA, in C/C++, Python, Assembly, and CAPL programming languages, using Git, Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, codeBeamer ALM, Eclipse IDE, TESSY, and Stateflow tools.

Your Profile

• Bachelor, Electronics Engineering, Electronics Science, Electrical Engineering, or related.
• Thirty-six months’ experience as Software Engineer, Project Manager, or related, coordinating or managing embedded electronic control unit (ECU) software development programs for automotive mechatronic component and coordinating software delivery with customers, setting workload for software development and testing teams, to assure end-to-end embedded ECU software delivery, or related.
