Electronics Material Handler I — Medical Device Installation Support
Location: Denver, CO 80218 (Multiple Area Hospital Sites)
Pay: $30/hour
Duration: One Week 08/28/2026-09/04/2026
Schedule: 8:00 AM Start | 8–10 Hour Shifts | 40 Hours Guaranteed
About the Position
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Electronics Material Handler I to support a one-week project across five medical facilities in the Denver area. The primary responsibility is to assist in the removal and replacement of fall prevention/fall alarm monitors in patient rooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend a mandatory 30-minute training on the Friday prior to project start
- Report each morning to Hector & Misty at the front lobby of the assigned hospital
- Identify, unplug, remove, replace, and test patient fall monitors
- Carefully collect, box, and label old equipment at the end of each day
- Communicate with patients prior to entering and provide respectful, brief introductions
- Work under the direction of hospital clinical engineering staff as needed
- Move efficiently between patient rooms and facilities as scheduled
Position Details
- Physical demands: Must be able to walk 10,000–20,000 steps per day, stand for 8–10 hours, climb stairs, move quickly, and have strong attention to detail
- Environment: Will work inside acute care facilities (no isolation rooms); masks and gloves available
- Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to arrive at various sites each day (Saint Joseph Hospital, Lutheran Medical Center, Lutheran Hospice, Good Samaritan Hospital, Platte Valley Hospital)
- May rideshare between locations midday with project leads as required
- Meals: Bring your own lunch or purchase from onsite cafeterias
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate ($30/hr); must work all scheduled days to qualify for 40-hour guarantee
Qualifications
- Must be comfortable working in hospital and active patient care environments
- Strong work ethic and reliability — must show up ready to work each day
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain focus throughout the day
- Excellent physical stamina and attention to detail
- Prior experience in materials handling, electronics, or hospital settings a plus, but not required
