Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Technician in San Antonio, TX. You will assemble and configure all components of an electronic security system for factory testing and final installation.

Responsibilities include reading plans and schematics, troubleshooting, coordinating with engineers, receiving and organizing equipment, labeling components, and overseeing factory tests while maintaining tools and inventory for project needs.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret plans, schematics, specifications, wiring diagrams, and functional block diagrams.
• Troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure equipment meets contract requirements.
• Receive, verify, organize, and segregate equipment for projects.
• Maintain tools and inventory and perform component labeling.
• Assemble electronic components in racks or enclosures for projects.
• Complete test sheets and oversee factory testing.
• Forecast future consumable needs and manage inventory.

• Complete test sheets and oversee factory testing of all points and systems
• Help manage consumable inventory; including material sign-out/project assignment, ordering, and forecasting of future requirements

DESCRIPTION
