Iaas Lc is offering an internship in Simsbury, CT, focusing on hands-on product engineering within Electronics Operations. You will contribute to continuous improvement, new product development, and the design of manufacturing cells, gaining exposure to lean processes and SPC.

Ideal candidates are engineering undergraduates with strong Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with CAD and manufacturing tools, looking to advance into full-time roles after graduation.

Formación

• Undergraduate students pursuing a degree in an engineering discipline.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Preferred experience with CAD and hands-on use of manufacturing tools.

Responsabilidades

• Support all aspects of product engineering within Electronics Operations, including continuous improvement and new product development.
• Develop Standard Work packages and assist in lean cell conversion and statistical process control implementation.
• Design manufacturing cells.
• Assist in solving manufacturing problems, investigating process failures, and implementing corrective actions.
• Implement Lean methodologies such as standard work, point of use tooling, material presentation, and process improvements.
• Interface with production personnel including operators, quality inspectors, and shop floor supervisors.
