Job summary

Jabil in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to develop and implement high-volume manufacturing processes for circuit card assemblies (CCAs) using SMT and TH technologies. You will monitor quality and efficiency to drive continuous improvement and ensure on-time delivery and high yields.

The role requires 5+ years in electronics manufacturing, strong communication, and a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing process engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret customer documentation, quality requirements and Engineering Changes.
• Design and develop processes to meet product and customer requirements efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure process parameters stay within tolerances and meet IPC-610/J-STD-001 Class 3 requirements.
• Follow product launches to validate process effectiveness and implement improvements.
• Assist production floor in evaluating and resolving Man/Method/Machine/Material/Measurement/Environment issues.
• Monitor metrics like FPY, CRR, and Scrap; propose improvement plans to exceed goals.
• Strive to balance line throughput and minimize changeover downtime.
• Provide guidance and training to Manufacturing Engineers, Assistants, and Technicians.
