Job summary

ND Defense LLC in West Point, MS is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to support new product launches in our electronics assembly department. The role requires experience with IPC standards, product testing, and BOE creation for circuit card assemblies and wire harnesses.

You will develop manufacturing processes, create work instructions, and set up fixtures while ensuring ISO 9001 adherence and optimizing line layouts for productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Basis of Estimate (BOE) experience.
• IPC Standards Certifications or experience.
• Previous experience with Wire Harness assembly.
• Test procedure creation and work instruction creation.
• US Person per regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basis of estimate creation by providing manufacturing flow times according to contractual requirements.
• Develop technical documentation, including work instructions and engineering drawings to support manufacturing operations.
• Assist in the development of jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing aids.
• Assist in the development of electronics manufacturing processes that adhere to ISO 9001 certification standards such as ESD, FOD, and material storage procedures.
• Optimize assembly line layouts to maximize productivity and improve overall workflow efficiency.
• Serve as technical liaison between customer, manufacturing, quality assurance and vendor and supplier personnel to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Assist in test procedure creation, equipment recommendations, and troubleshooting.

Job Summary
