Advanced Mission Partners, a wholly owned subsidiary of SSAI, is seeking a motivated Electronics Manufacturing Apprenticewho is interested in beginning a career in electronics manufacturing and gaining hands-on experience in a professional production environment. This positition is designed for an individual who is eager to learn, enjoys working with their hands, and wants to develop the technical skills needed for a future career in electronics manufacturing, assembly, testing, or related fields.
Working alongside experienced manufacturing and technical staff, the intern will receive hands-on training and exposure to the processes, tools, equipment, and quality standards used to manufacture electronic products and components. Prior electronics manufacturing experience is not required -- we are looking for someone with a strong interest in learning and developing new skills.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear and occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
