Meritec in Ohio is seeking a Production Machine Operator to run presses and molding equipment to assemble electronic connectors and cable assemblies. The role is on-site, full-time, with first or second shifts and potential for overtime.

You will follow training, monitor quality, use hand tools, load materials, inspect parts, and keep the work area safe. Overtime is available and adherence to attendance and safety policies is required.

• Follow written and verbal instructions to operate presses and cutting equipment.
• Handle small parts with care and perform precise hand movements.
• Read diagrams and production documentation.
• Identify defects and report quality or equipment concerns promptly.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Attend required training and team meetings.
• Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.

Responsabilidades

• Operate assigned presses and cutting equipment according to training and work instructions.
• Prepare jobs by gathering materials, tools, and fixtures and following work instructions.
• Load and unload materials, monitor machine operation, and make adjustments as needed.
• Use hand tools and fixtures as trained.
• Read and follow production drawings and documentation.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for defects and record results.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards; report concerns promptly.
• Assemble electronic connectors and cable assemblies when assigned.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Attend training and department meetings; work with supervisors.
