Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking an Electronics Lab Technician II to join the team in a startup-style environment. You will work with Cesium engineers to create antenna and RF test setups, run test plans, and deliver reliable results using state-of-the-art lab equipment such as anechoic chambers, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and power supplies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of directly related experience as an Engineering Technician.
• Experience working with active electronics.
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as DMMs and Power Meters.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong organization and collaboration with MS Teams/SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and provide concise and timely reporting of findings.
• Organize and maintain antenna testing facilities, equipment and resources.
• Support setup and measurements of sensitive electronics, including QFNs, chip-scale ICs, RF cables, and 0201 passive components.
• Execute documentation with meticulous attention to detail and a high standard of quality.
• Support clean, well-documented test setups consisting of instrumentation, cabling, and the devices under test.
