Job summary

CesiumAstro, a leader in out-of-the-box communication systems for satellites and airborne platforms, seeks an Electronics Lab Technician II for hands-on testing and setup work. You will work with engineers to assemble antenna and RF test setups, run test plans, and deliver timely results using state-of-the-art lab equipment.

You will contribute to testing of AESA-related hardware, troubleshoot from component to system level, and maintain documentation with high precision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of directly related experience as an Engineering Technician.
• Experience working with active electronics.
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as DMMs and Power Meters.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and provide concise and timely reporting of findings.
• Organize and maintain antenna testing facilities, equipment and resources.
• Support setup and measurements of sensitive electronics, including QFNs, chip-scale ICs, RF cables, and 0201 passive components.
• Execute to and provide feedback on thorough documentation with meticulous attention to detail and a high standard of quality.
• Support clean, intricate, and well-documented test setups consisting of instrumentation, cabling, and the devices under test
