Job summary

Benchmark Electronics is seeking an Incoming Inspector to perform visual, mechanical and electrical inspection of parts and assemblies from vendors and internal sites to ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards. You will foster teamwork in a continuous improvement environment and approve materials based on specification testing.

The role requires 3+ years in electronics inspection, strong communication, and the ability to lead and train others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 3+ years electronics inspection experience.
• Ability to lead and train others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials visually, mechanically and electrically against drawings and standards.
• Verify receipt of materials per specifications and document results.
• Input data into the Data Collection System and maintain records.
• Check configurations on assemblies and provide timely feedback to operations.
• Disposition nonconforming material (reject/quarantine) and coordinate with material control.
• Follow documented procedures and suggest data‑driven improvements.
• Work with limited supervision and exercise professional judgment.
