Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc. is seeking an Incoming Inspector in Minnesota to perform visual, mechanical, and electrical inspection on parts and assemblies from vendors and Benchmark sites.

The role supports quality standards, confirms specification requirements, and approves materials for use. The successful candidate will handle inspection tasks across electronic and mechanical components, input data into the system, and help maintain accurate process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Works from Receiving packaging documentation to verify incoming material is compliant with specifications.
• Performs inspection activities on electronic and mechanical parts and assemblies for proper markings and quality requirements.
• Inputs data into the Data Collection System.
• Checks configuration on all assemblies.
• Provides inspection disposition and directs appropriate material control (reject/quarantine or stock).
• Learns to use professional concepts and applies company policies to resolve routine issues.
