Job summary

Formlabs in Somerville, MA is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to design, prototype, and validate electronics and electromechanical subsystems. You will work hands-on with hardware, build boards, firmware, and collaborate with engineers on real products that ship to customers.

The role requires a portfolio of prior engineering work, comfort with analog and digital systems, soldering, PCB design, C programming, and Python scripting.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of previous engineering work/projects required.
• Comfort with analog and digital systems.
• Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, feedback, or motor control.
• Soldering and prototyping experience.
