UNITEC is an international group specializing in designing and manufacturing innovative solutions for sorting, processing, packing and selecting the quality of fresh fruits and vegetables. The Kingsburg, CA branch seeks an Electronics Field Service Technician to perform on-site assembly, installation, testing and maintenance of automatic processing lines, including PCs and vision systems.

Travel across the USA and occasional trips to Canada are required, with hands-on training provided.

Qualifications

• Electrical and/or electronics experience or knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the USA and sometimes Canada with a flexible schedule.
• Must have a valid driving license.
• Reliability, flexibility and precision.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, fabricate and repair fruit and vegetable processing lines.

For our branch in Kingsburg, CA we are looking for a:

ELECTRONICS FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

We are looking for a Electronics Field-based Service Technician to be responsible for providing primary support and service onsite. You will also be responsible and in charge for the onsite assembly, installation, testing and maintenance of automatic processing lines, specifically PCs, vision systems (e.g. cameras) and softwares. This role is suited to an adventurous spirit, as there will be a lot of travel in the USA, including occasional trips to Canada. You will receive hands-on training and support with experienced colleagues.

Job Requirements:

• Electrical and/or electronics experience and knowledge is preferred;
• Familiarity with related tools required (e.g. cabling, use of computers);
• Must be willing to travel, across USA and sometimes Canada with a flexible schedule;
• Valid driving license;
• Reliability, flexibility and precision.

Pay Range: $22 to $31 gross per hour, depending on candidate's profile, background and experience.

Your tasks:

• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, fabrication and repair of fruit and vegetable processing lines;
• Delivering exceptional customer experiences through effective communication and support;
• Act as a link between the field and the Head Quarters service team, collecting and providing feedback from the market.
