Job summary

Powerus is seeking an Electronics Engineer to design, build, and validate electronic hardware for unmanned platforms. You will work across analog and digital circuits—sensing, conditioning, power, and interfaces—taking designs from concept through bring-up and proving them on the bench and in the aircraft.

You will own component selection, contribute to board layout, write tests, and stay involved through manufacturing so the shipped design matches what was reviewed.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid grounding in analog and digital circuit design and the ability to reason about a circuit from its schematic.
• Practical bench skill - instrumentation, measurement technique, soldering, and rework.
• Experience taking a circuit from idea through a working, characterized prototype.
• U.S. Person status required (ITAR/EAR controls).

Responsibilities

• Design analog and digital circuits for sensing, signal conditioning, power, and interface functions.
• Capture schematics, contribute to board layout, and drive designs through review to release.
• Bring up new hardware, characterize performance, and debug to root cause.
• Select components against electrical requirements, lifecycle, availability, and NDAA/Blue UAS constraints.
• Build test fixtures and write procedures that make a design's performance measurable.
