Qualifications

• Education and Specialized experience requirements described below. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; transcripts may be required if qualifying based on education.
• Basic Requirement For Electronics Engineer: Degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program, or equivalent combination of education and experience with courses in statics, dynamics, strength of materials, fluids, thermodynamics, circuits, and materials.
• Alternative qualifications include professional registration (EI, EIT, PE) or passing the FE exam, or 60 semester hours in physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences with related coursework.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed specifications and economic analyses to secure funding by a variety of military commands.
• Provide technical advice to lower grade engineers on engineering issues.
• Assist in the review of completed studies to assure that recommendations are applicable to engineering theories, principles, and techniques.
