Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a mission-driven Electronics Engineer to reverse engineer advanced electronics for weaponized technologies in support of a US Navy mission. The role involves state-side and international work, laboratory analysis, and reporting critical findings to DoD leadership.

Required is a BSEE or equivalent, experience with RF systems, PCB assembly, and lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Experience with electronic circuit design and PCB assembly.
• RF field experience and use of lab instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform reverse engineering and digital forensic analysis on electronic devices.
• Report findings to military and civilian leadership.
• Develop and maintain standardized demodulation tools for signals.
• Produce technical reports and maintain chain of custody of items and data.
