Job summary

Bruker Daltonics is seeking an Electronic Engineer to contribute to the production of electron microscopes in Kirkland, WA. This role reports to the Operations Teams and focuses on sustaining the electronics production line on a day-to-day basis.

You will troubleshoot on the production floor, create and maintain process work instructions and documentation, advocate for design for manufacturability, and coordinate NPI ramp-ups with R&D, assembly, testing, planning and purchasing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in R&D or manufacturing environments (≥2 years).
• Strong hands-on problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Proficient English communication.

Responsibilities

• Day to Day sustaining of the Electronics Production Line in Kirkland.
• First line troubleshooting of technical problems on the production floor, including final check before deploying to the product.
• Creating and maintaining process work instructions, fixture drawings, and other documentation.
• Advocate for Design for Manufacturability at the site.
• Coordinate the new product introduction (NPI) and ramp-up of products and parts in cooperation with R&D, assembly, testing, purchasing, and planning teams.
• Document existing assembly processes and procedures and continuously improve documents to increase production efficiency.
• Maintain overall electronics production line quality through tracking Yield, Scrap, and Nonconformities.
• Participate in Material Review Boards
