Responsibilities

  • Advocate for Design for Manufacturability at the site.
  • Coordinate the new product introduction (NPI) and ramp-up of products and parts with R&D, assembly, testing, purchasing, and planning teams.
  • Document existing assembly processes and procedures and continuously improve documents to increase production efficiency.
  • Maintain overall electronics production line quality by tracking Yield, Scrap, and Nonconformities.
  • Participate in Material Review Boards

The Bruker AXS-EM division is looking for an Electronic Engineer to contrubute to the production of electron microscopes in Kirkland, WA. This position will report to the Operations Teams.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Discipline
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics
  • At least two years of experience in a R&D and/or Manufacturing environment
  • Strong self-management and drive to get things done
  • Strong hands‑on problem‑solving drive
  • Quick learner and willing to become an expert in a new field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with KiCAD or other electronics CAD software
  • Knowledge of ERP systems. SAP knowledge is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Experience in product launch and ramp‑up of new products

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full‑time position is between $70,200 and $125,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job‑related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job‑related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full‑time employees may also be eligible for a performance‑related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
