Job summary

Leidos in Anchorage, AK is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join the NAS Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team. You will support the FAA Communications Engineering Center with electronics engineering, project engineering, management and planning for NAS modernization projects, including LIFT program initiatives such as NEXCOM Radios and Airport Cable Loop.

The role requires an Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 2+

Qualifications

Electrical or Electronic Engineering degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 2+ years.
Systems engineering experience integrating electronics components/systems.
4+ years of work experience in electrical and/or electronic engineering.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance (U.S. citizen or eligible resident with continuous U.S. residency).

Responsibilities

Provide electronics engineering support for NAS modernization projects in the FAA Western Service Area.
Develop engineering design packages for installation of communications, radar, and weather equipment.
Prepare transition, testing, and training plans and coordinate with stakeholders.
Assess project feasibility and risk, and propose mitigations.
