Description:Join Our Team as an Senior Electronics Engineer where you will support the development of emerging technologies and products as part of our strategic deterrent portfolio.

Location: This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility, one of the Coolest places to work: King of Prussia PA

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

• Work collaboratively with small groups of engineers from a wide range of technical disciplines to understand, define, and deliver electrical design architectures, designs, analyses, initial production support, test, and integration toward prototype flight vehicles to meet evolving customer needs.



To be effective in this role, you will need:

• Self-directed ability to perform and coordinate electrical design, analysis, integration, and test on-site in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team environment are key to this role.
• 5+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's; or 3+ years of professional experience with a Master's degree.
• While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with:
- Electronic circuit design, analysis, test, and troubleshooting
- Schematic capture software
- Circuit analysis software
Desired Skills:
Experience with the following:
o Electrical worst-case (eWCCA) and parts stress analysis
o Design, integration, test, verification, and validation of hardware in a highly regulated or high-reliability industry (defense, medical, etc.)
o Writing and deriving requirements
o Defining electrical system architecture from requirements definition, and allocating functions across hardware blocks
o Communication protocols (e.g. CAN bus, SPI, I2C, parallel/serial bus)
o Designing with microcontrollers
o Integrating hardware, from boards through boxes and racks
o Presenting informal or formal status to peers, management, and customer
o Leading a technical team
o Missile or satellite hardware or related test hardware

Familiarity with the following:
o Embedded software design for microcontroller units
o PWB layout and routing process
o Cable and harness design
o FPGA design
o Major program reviews such as System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Test Readiness Review, Qualification Readiness Review
o Failure investigation and root cause analysis

• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal, in person and remote
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
