Freedom Electronics is seeking an Electronics Engineer I to join our team in Kennesaw, GA. This hands-on role focuses on analysis, troubleshooting, repair, reverse engineering, and improvement of electronic assemblies and circuit boards.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, technicians, and production staff to troubleshoot failures, understand designs, and develop test methods. Expect opportunities to grow in PCB reverse engineering, firmware, LCD/LED displays, and test systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 2 years of professional electronics experience.
• Solid grasp of analog and digital electronics principles.
• Hands-on PCB troubleshooting and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer electronics assemblies and PCBs with documentation.
• Troubleshoot and analyze failures using diagnostic methods.
• Use test equipment (O-scopes, DMMs, logic analyzers) for diagnostics.
• Assist in LCD/LED displays and touchscreen integration testing and validation.
• Document engineering work clearly and maintain records.
