Freedom Electronics, based at 170 Chastain Meadows Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA, is seeking an Electronics Engineer I with hands-on experience to analyze, troubleshoot, repair, reverse engineer, and improve electronic assemblies and circuit boards.

The role focuses on PCB reverse engineering, embedded firmware, LCD/LED displays, touchscreen technologies, and component-level troubleshooting while collaborating with senior engineers, technicians, and production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering.
• Approximately 2 years of professional electronics engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in analog and digital electronics principles.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of circuit boards with lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reverse engineering of electronic assemblies and PCBs.
• Perform component-level troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Use oscilloscopes, DMMs and logic analyzers to diagnose problems.
• Support LCD/LED displays and touchscreen interfaces.
• Develop basic embedded firmware and test software in C/Python.
• Document schematics, BOMs and repair notes; maintain records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering and production.
• Occasional travel for product evaluation or field support.
