Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering work. You bring years of design, debugging, and hardware shipping experience to teach AI to reason about circuits and physical constraints.

You will design problems, test them on frontier AI models, compare versions, critique model outputs, and flag failures with evidence. Remote-friendly, flexible project work across multiple domains.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in EE or related field preferred.
• Fluent English required or bilingual.
• Ability to defend design decisions and communicate reasoning clearly.
• Comfort with AI tools and rapid learning of new tech.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems from your practice.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge output to a professional standard.
• Compare two model versions on identical prompts and assess performance.
• Critique model-generated derivations, schematics, selections, and calculations; write justification.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence and documentation.
