Nebula is seeking electrical/electronics engineers to design and bring up mixed-signal boards for production machines. You will own from schematic to a running machine, including test rigs and fixtures for verification.
The role focuses on precision analog, actuator drive, and real-time firmware on multi-core ARM parts, with on-site manufacturing and equity in a fast-growing startup.
Your role is to design the sensing, drive, power and control electronics inside our production machines, write the real-time firmware that runs them, and own the test of the boards those machines produce.
That is mixed-signal board design from schematic to a board you have brought up, precision analog and actuator drive, real-time embedded firmware on multi-core Arm parts, and the bench work that separates one fault from another.
You will own the electronics of each machine built on this line, from the first schematic to a machine that runs, and stand up the fixtures and hardware-in-the-loop rigs that verify what comes off it.
We are looking for electrical and electronics engineers with experience and interest in mixed-signal board design, precision analog and actuator drive, real-time embedded firmware, and bring-up and fault isolation.
Every role works with our AI systems daily. What can be deterministic, must be. You need no AI background; we prefer people without one. We hire for your knowledge and experience in the field first, so you can steer the ship; the tooling is a learning curve we expect you to take on.
We work on-site in El Segundo. This is hard work, but you will be rewarded with equity in a company we believe will become one of the world's most valuable.
