Job summary

Mini-Systems, Inc. is seeking an electronic diagnostics & repair technician to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing and electrical equipment, assemble or modify electronic systems, and assist engineering with new machine designs. You will use diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes), perform soldering and wiring, document test results, and create schematics.

Travel between locations may be required. Strong English communication, five years in electronics, and proficiency with

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Five years minimum in the electronics field.
Read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access).
Experience with AutoCAD and Solid Works.
Valid driver’s license and transportation is required for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems.
Use diagnostic equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test instruments.
Wire, solder, build, and repair electrical components and assemblies.
Document repairs, test results, and procedures.
Determine materials, replacement parts, and tools needed for repairs and rebuilds.
Create schematics for equipment.
Completes tasks as directed by Manager with minimum supervision.
Perform other duties as assigned.
