Job summary

Mini-Systems, Inc. is seeking an electronics diagnostic & repair technician to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, assemble or modify electronic systems, and assist with new machine designs.

You will use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test instruments, wire and solder components, document results, and create schematics. A High School Diploma and 5 years in electronics are required; AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Five years minimum in electronics field.
• Read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access).
• Experience with AutoCAD and Solid Works.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation required for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems.
• Use diagnostic equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Wire, solder, build, and repair electrical components and assemblies.
• Document repairs, test results, and procedures.
• Determine materials, replacement parts, and tools needed for repairs and rebuilds.
• Create schematics for equipment.
• Complete tasks as directed by Manager with minimum supervision.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
