Garmin invites applications for a full-time Design Engineering Intern in Yarmouth, ME. You will design, debug, and test digital, analog, RF, and possibly ASIC circuits under supervision, while learning software tools and test equipment.

You will support production and collaborate with Test Engineers to ensure designs meet specs and regulations. Ideal candidates are pursuing Electrical or Computer Engineering, maintain a GPA of 3.0+, and have exposure to electronics design tools and test

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Knowledge of test equipment and software tools for electronics design and documentation.

Responsabilités

• Design, debug, and test digital/analog/RF/ASIC under supervision of an engineer.
• Follow test procedures to verify compliance with regulations and quality guidelines.
• Prepare test data and reports to validate designs against specs.
• Learn and use software tools and test equipment for electronic designs.
• Support production facilities in manufacturing products under supervision.
• Interface with Test Engineers and factory staff on testing and production.
• Perform cost/performance tradeoff analysis of circuit options under supervision.
• Investigate use of latest components and technologies under supervision.
• Document designs in required formats and integrate feedback where possible.
